those shoes were made for walking.

When shopping my day away Friday afternoon, I stumbled over the Steve Madden store. Loads of shoes for a good price! My friend Cat got the Balmain inspired pair and I got the Mary-Kate Olsen wedges, which are extremely comfortable. Look at his collection here!

ANT!PODiUM

"Established in 2006, the label began as an accident: an eponymous one-off collection for London’s Antipodium boutique. Its popularity was instantaneous – catching the eye of British Vogue and a Liberty buyer, the trio turned their attentions to the project full-time. Their complete debut collection launched to overwhelming acclaim at London Fashion Week in September that year." ANT!PODiUM

pierced.

My rebellious side came out yesterday, when I decided to get my inner gorge pierced.

- It hurt like hell!

pool party.

Saturday afternoon I attended a pool party at the rooftop of the Gansevoort Hotel in the Meatpacking district. There was an amazing view of the Hudson river and loads of half naked people.

Pamela Love for Zac Posen.

Fall 2009 was a big season for jewelry collaboration in New York. One of those collaborations was Pamela Love for Zac Posen. The pieces complimented Zac's theatrical collection very well with floral earrings opening up to give forth spikes, braided headbands affixed with spikes and studded belts covered with leaves and flowers.

smooth sailing.

NY hit by MJ fever.

Thursday night was unforgettable in many ways. All over NY the great tunes of the even greater Micheal Jackson played and people said their goodbyes in a good manner. I went out in the Lower East Side and ended up at "Happy Ending" (very ironic), where my friend Ojay was having a party.

R.I.P Micheal.

Michael Jackson, the show-stopping singer whose best-selling albums - including "Off the Wall," "Thriller" and "Bad" - and electrifying stage presence made him one of the most popular artists of all time, died today. I was listening to the radio and heard one of his "can't help, but dance" songs and when the song finished - "...in memory of Micheal Jackson..." I still can't believe it - I grew up with his music. He inspired so many people. R.I.P Micheal Jackson.

rad hourani.

I love love love this young designer. The black colors, the leather pieces and details, the draped jackets and vests - everything! The clever pairing of light and heavy fabrics with classic styling made this AW 09 not only a timeless collection, but an a seasonal one too.
The pants give me an idea for my next D.I.Y project!

fun fun fun.

Just found a picture from Tuesday night at the A.OK party taken by Vinnet Bradshaw. Me and my friend Cat.

A.OK PARTY.

So yesterday I went to this A.OK party - it was so much fun! Open bar from 9-11 - only made things better. I wore my new shoes, which are wedges so I had no problem dancing all night.

I WANT IT! This jewelry designer has no problem remembering her old Barbie dolls - she's wearing them! Margaux Lange makes these fun pieces, I personally love the "Barbie-arm-necklace". You can buy her pieces here!

BLISS LAU

Yesterday I met jewelry designer Bliss Lau - I'm a BIG fan of her work! Imagine these body harnesses over a simple tank, it would save a lot of outfits.

Just a quick picture from last night. They played an awsome set!
The top picture is my friend Nicole's bag, that I plan on stealing! (btw she made it herself!)

indiana joe meets little big horn.

Fit for a hoedown! I'm going to see Pamela play (psychedelic, garage rock, all-girl band) in Williamsburg tonight and need some inspiration - so I found this amazing shoot from Dazed Digital, styled by Karen Langley.

vintage paradise.

What do you do on a rainy Saturday? Indoor flee-market!! Cat and I went to Chelsea and found this amazing space with everything from clothes and jewelry to art and weapons. One booth in particular was packed with vintage designer clothes and accessories from all decades, even jewelry from the Victorian Age; Lulu's Vintage Lovelies. (top photo)
We found gorgeous things you'll see later!

Visit it: 6 Ave., 25th Street (in an indoor parking lot)

my next project.

A very easy D.I.Y project! Get some black jeans, a brush, some bleach and you're on your way! I love the two-sided affect. (also very slimming!)
